Training Help!
The Training Comittee provides information to dog owners regarding training, socialization, behavior modification and temperament testing. The Training service is a resource for upcoming training classes given by organizations like PAWS-Abilities and Puppyworks. All members who come across articles on any of these subjects are encouraged to send them to the Chairperson so that they may be shared with others. The Committee:
- Provides training materials to interested Entlebucher owners
- Recommends training books and publications
- Offers advice on specific training procedures from local trainers specializing in working and herding dogs
- Publishes the Training Column in the Entlebook newsletter for tips and answering questions
- Can assist with taking your training to the next level
- Coordinates with the Rescue Committee so transitions can be made smoothly and beneficially
