Become a NEMDA Member

The board and members of NEMDA, the National Entlebucher Mountain Dog Association, invite you to become a member! Please join us in celebrating this wonderful breed! We’d love to have you participate in our activities.

Membership is open to everyone. The club hosts many events throughout the year; Entlefest is a once-a-year event and Entle Days are held by members throughout the year in all kinds of places. Several events held so far include "Maifest" in Leavenworth, Washington, "Swiss Days" in California, "Utahfest" in Alpine, Utah, and many local events sponsored by members. Meet other Entle owners and their dogs from all over, swap Entle tales and find answers to training and health questions.

Each member also gets a fabulous quarterly newsletter, The Entlebook, which covers training, health issues, book reviews, national events, and of course lots of stories about Entles! Entlebucher collectibles are available as well.

NEMDA currently has over 200 members and is growing strong! Members are enjoying the camaraderie and networking that the Club offers, such as finding more Entlebuchers nearby. Some of our European members joined just because of our informative newsletters!

We’re dedicated to
–maintaining the Entlebucher Breed Standard
–recognizing and controlling genetic health issues
–providing information and support to add to your enjoyment of these energetic dogs!
Our goal is to build a strong foundation to support Entlebucher Sennehunds into the future!

NEMDA also offers a FCI national registry, open to all Entlebuchers and has organized several committees, including: Health and Genetics, Rescue and Re-homing, Training Resources, Breeding, Translation, History, Publicity and Promotions, and more.

NEMDA dues are US/Canada $40 (US currency) for a 12-month membership. If you don’t have an Entle yet, are researching the breed, or live outside North America, we offer a half-price associate membership for US/Canada $25 (US currency) per year. We look forward to welcoming you to NEMDA!
